Abraham George
Praise the Lord! I am Abraham George, a full-time catholic charismatic lay evangelist and a missionary to Australia. In the year 2008 I had a personal encounter of the Love of God in my life. Since then, this verse from Acts 20:24 has been my motto in life! “However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.” Acts 20:24
I have been serving the Church in various roles, I serve as a chaplain in hospitals and prisons, involved in Medical ministry and also assists with the Exorcism and Deliverance ministry. I currently coordinate the missions of Spiritual Renewal Ministry in Sydney, a lay ministry under the catholic charismatic renewal and I am also part of the Charis state and diocesan service team. I now live in Sydney with my beautiful family, my wife Anitta and our five children, serving the Lord.
"Reflecting on the unwavering love and guidance of Jesus, my Savior. In every moment, He leads the way, offering hope, peace, and strength. Let His light shine in our hearts always."
Call to Ministry
We are called to Worship God and serve Him. Ministry flows out of Worship, the more we are closer to the Lord the more we understand the heart of the Lord for His people. I carry a deep burden and compassion for the people in darkness, the lost and the sick ones, the suffering and the oppressed among us. Mathew 28:18 we read “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age”. Then in Luke 10:8 we read, As you go, preach this message: “The kingdom of God is near. “Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Ministry is our response in obedience to these commands of the Lord.
Isaiah 6:8, "I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me."
I have been faithful in His service, wherever He has send me I have gone. I have ministered to Catholics and Protestants alike, I have taken the Gospel to the remote villages of Africa, I have travelled across states and countries for the sake of the Gospel, even sacrificing my life at times for the love of God. Even though I am a devout Catholic, my heart is to work ecumenically across all denominations and culture, when it comes to the work of evangelization.
Gospel of love
is an online evangelical mission to spread the good news of God’s unconditional love. It is my personal blog and online apostolate of the evangelization work the Lord has entrusted to me. I have been touched and transformed by the Love of God and I believe what the world needs to hear is about God’s unconditional love. Gospel of love exists to proclaim this message through online platforms. On the feast of Pentecost in May 19,2024 I declared full-time ship for the Kingdom of God, in obedience to the voice of the Lord. I am very passionate and committed to build the Kingdom of God, to bring as many as possible to the Lord.
Ecumenism
I believe Christian unity is more important now, than in any other time in the history of the world. Ecumenism is a movement within the Church to restore unity among all Christian denominations, and we know it is at the heart of Jesus from His prayer for the believers in John 17:20-21. “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you.” Gospel of Love commits itself to Christian unity and would like to work with all Christian denominations and communities to bring a renewal and transformation in the body of Christ, in the spirit of Ecumenism to build the Kingdom of God.
Jesus my Savior
Even though I was born in a Catholic family, I didn’t know who Jesus was until I had a personal revelation from God. I didn’t understand how Jesus who died 2000 years ago can be my savior, or the reason why He had to be crucified? I started to study the Bible and ask God to reveal these truths to me. The more revelations I had the more convinced and grateful I was to God for sending His Son Jesus to be my savior. Today many don’t understand who Jesus is, they think He was just a teacher or a miracle worker. He is much more than that, Jesus is the Son of God, meaning God incarnated. He is truly man and truly God. He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation (Colossians 1:15). He is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word (Hebrews 1:3).
