Abraham George
Praise the Lord! I am Abraham George, a full-time catholic charismatic lay evangelist and a missionary to Australia. In the year 2008 I had a personal encounter of the Love of God in my life. Since then, this verse from Acts 20:24 has been my motto in life! “However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.” Acts 20:24
I have been serving the Church in various roles, I serve as a chaplain in hospitals and prisons, involved in Medical ministry and also assists with the Exorcism and Deliverance ministry. I currently coordinate the missions of Spiritual Renewal Ministry in Sydney, a lay ministry under the catholic charismatic renewal and I am also part of the Charis state and diocesan service team. I now live in Sydney with my beautiful family, my wife Anitta and our five children, serving the Lord.

Our Ministry
Many people think that signs & wonders are a thing of the past, and as a result they don’t believe in healing and miracles today but continue to be sick and afflicted. We read in Hebrews 13:8, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever”. What Jesus did 2000 years back He will do it today and forever. Jesus doesn’t want us to be sick, He wants us to be healed! Healing ministry is something that is much needed today. Jesus had compassion on the sick and the afflicted, and He healed every single person who came to Him. The Lord has entrusted this ministry to us and over the years and we have seen with our own eyes, literally hundreds of people healed through prayers for the Glory of God.
Evangelisation is at the core of our purpose and mission. As Pope Paul VI said, ‘The Church exists to evangelise’. Sadly, I have come across many Catholics and Christians who don’t know the gospel yet, they don't know why Jesus died or sometimes even they don't know that Jesus is God. I was shocked many times by the response of people who told me that Jesus is just a good teacher. No! He is much more than that! He is the Son of the true living God, the visible image of the invisible God and the exact representation of His being! We have a big mission ahead of us, to evangelise the world!
Prayer Ministry can be done online or in person. We will pray together in agreement for your needs and seek the will of God, with the help of the charisms of the Holy Spirit. Often prayer ministry leads to healing, deliverance or counselling sessions which will bring transformation and completion..
It is a very important ministry that is much needed today in the Church. There are a lot of confusions and myths when it comes to devil and his presence. I have experienced freedom and deliverance myself in my life and seen many people being set free through the ministry and prayers of deliverance. People confuse deliverance with exorcism, which is a sacramental of the Church to free a person from Satanic possession. It can only be facilitated by the Bishop or the Priest appointed by the him, whereas Deliverance or sometimes called as minor exorcism is a prayer of command done by the lay faithful in the name of Jesus to free a person from demonic influence. Deliverance Ministry plays a big role in evangelization in setting the captives free and bringing them back to Christ’s love. It is carried out by any of the faithful for those experiencing lesser forms of demonic influence.
